ASTM A790 UNS s31803 Seamless Pipes

Seamless Pipe Suppliers for UNS S31803, ASTM A790 UNS S31803, UNS S31803 Duplex Steel Seamless Pipe.

Pipes made from A790 UNS S31803, seamless S31803 pipe, and welded S31803 pipe

Detailed Information:

The main advantage of using duplex stainless steel alloys is that they have superior corrosion resistance properties amongst the other classes. Especially in industries that process both sulfur and chloride ions, the duplex S31803 seamless pipe is advantageous because of its stress-related corrosion cracking properties. Conventional steel pipes have very little resistance to such corrosive ions, so they tend to crack when sulfide or chloride ions are deposited on their walls.

To prevent stress corrosion cracking, ASTM A790 UNS S31803 Seamless Pipe (Welded and Seamless) has been developed. Besides being suitable for these conditions, UNS S31803 pipe suppliers recommend it also for the following conditions: pitting and crevice corrosion solutions. As a matter of fact, seamless S31803 pipes will exhibit exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion even in highly oxidizing and acidic solutions.

This alloy has a higher pitting resistance equivalent value than alloys like 304 or 316 stainless steel. With excellent impact toughness even at low temperatures, UNS S31803 Duplex Steel Seamless Pipe is a competitive alternative to austenitic stainless steel grades 316 and 317 in terms of price. The alloy is two times stronger than both grades, so the walls of the A790 UNS S31803 pipe can be thinner. In addition to resulting in a lighter-weight S31803 welded pipe, this also results in lower costs.

The ASTM A790 seamless pipe specification is UNS S31803

Packing & Marking

Seamless Pipes are protected from damage during shipment with ASTM A790 UNS S31803 Packages. The ASTM A790 UNS S31803 Seamless Pipes we export are marked with Grade, Lot No, Size, and our trademark, while the standard export packaging is wooden cases. Upon request, we can also add a special label to the pipe.

Assurance of quality

Starting with the purchase of materials, our ASTM A790 UNS S31803 Seamless Pipes undergo strict inspections throughout the production process. Our clients appoint certified inspection agencies to verify material reports, dimensions, and quality conformity. They are visually inspected for compliance with ASTM, ASME, DIN, EN, and JIS standards.
